Summer Food Service Program 2020
Nutritious lunches will be available through NOCAC’s Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) again this year. The program will be available in Defiance, Fulton, Paulding, and Williams counties and begin during the first week of June.
Due to recent events regarding CO-VID 19 and guidelines from Governor DeWine, the program will look a little different from past summers. NOCAC is currently developing a plan to administer the program while deciding on the safest ways to ensure the provision of free meals to children in our community. NOCAC will be sure to communicate the new procedures, times, and dates for the SFSP as soon as possible.
The SFSP provides free meals for all area children ages 1-18 (or up to the age of 21 with a valid Individual Education Program-IEP). NOCAC is sponsoring the SFSP at the following locations: Bryan, Defiance, Edgerton, Edon, Paulding, Pioneer, Sherwood, and Wauseon.
This program thrives because of the support and help from community members. Community members including individuals, families, and staff from area businesses/organizations volunteer at each site. Volunteers this year will help serve food, clean-up, and assist with the sign-in procedure. If you would like to volunteer, please call NOCAC at 419-784-2150.
