Summer Food Program
Free Meals and Fun Activities!
Fun activities and delicious healthy meals are included in the plans for this year’s Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The program is available in Defiance, Fulton, Paulding, and Williams Counties.
The SFSP provides free, nutritious meals for all area children ages 1-18 (or over the age of 18 with a disability and enrolled in an education program). An adult should accompany children under 5 years old. NOCAC is sponsoring eleven locations this year: Bryan, Edgerton, Edon, Oakwood, Paulding, Pioneer, Sherwood, Wauseon and three “Chomp & Romp” locations in Defiance. Most locations will be open Monday to Friday beginning in June. A complete list of times and dates is available.
A daily lunch menu can be viewed by site:
**Defiance County (Ralston Square Apts., Hebron Ministries, Kingsbury Park, Sherwood Library)
**Fulton County (Wauseon)
**Paulding County (Paulding and Oakwood)
**Williams County (Bryan, Edgerton, Edon and Pioneer)
It takes the help of the community to make the program successful. Community members including individuals, families, and staff from businesses/organizations volunteer at each site. They help serve food, clean-up, assist with the sign-in procedure, and/or provide fun, recreational and educational activities. If you would like to volunteer, please call NOCAC at 419-784-2150.
