Without our community partners and volunteers, Northwestern Ohio Community Action Commission could not have reached the level of impact in people’s lives that our agency has achieved.

Many community volunteers partner with NOCAC and have had the opportunity to work alongside a NOCAC employee and the clients that we work with each and every day. Volunteers assist us in early childhood programs, at the PATH Center, and with free tax preparation using the Ohio Benefit Bank service. The results are made self-evident to those that join our effort as invaluable volunteers and our services have been greatly enriched by their efforts.

Northwestern Ohio Community Action Commission uses volunteer support in many service areas:

Volunteers - NOCAC volunteers work with children in our classrooms, provide client tutoring and mentoring, cook and clean at our sites, help provide social interaction, serve as volunteer tax counselors to prepare income tax returns, perform agency administrative tasks, and distribute food supplies.
