Located on the second floor of the Richland Place building in Defiance are seven Single Room Occupancy (SRO) apartments. These units are subsidized by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Tenants pay 30% of their income for rent. Single Room Occupancy (SRO) housing is available to single persons who are homeless at the time of application. Yearly leases may be renewed for an unlimited period of time.

Case management services are available to all tenants. Staff work closely with residents on goal setting and achievements including continuing education, job readiness, nutrition and self-care. All Richland Place PATH Center services are available to SRO tenants.

Referrals for Single Room Occupancy Housing are only accepted through the regional coordinated entry system at 419-990-5135.
