2020 Census Information
The 2020 US Census — Everyone Counts!
NOCAC is proud to join the National Community Action Partnership and the Ohio Association of Community Action Agencies to support the 2020 US Census! It is conducted every 10 years by the U.S. government and counts every person living in the USA. The census Includes 10 questions and takes 10 minutes to complete.
EVERY person needs to be counted in the 2020 Census! Did you know that children under 5 years old are the most undercounted population? Funding for Head Start, schools, school lunch programs, Medicaid, Food Stamps, and many other federal programs is based on population. For every person not counted, it is estimated that $2,000/year in funding will be lost for the next 10 years (until the 2030 Census).
